NBC nabbed what it claims was an exclusive interview with Donald Trump on Sunday (in reality, ABC also aired footage from a Martha Raddatz interview with the businessman the same day). Since then, sister network MSNBC has played the exchange with Chuck Todd on "Meet the Press" so many times it makes you wonder whether the producers have lost their minds.
The network promoted the interview on three of its morning shows Sunday. Since then, it has run the same clip of Donald Trump and Chuck Todd in the reality TV star's private plane a whopping 51 times. In total, MSNBC has featured parts of the clip 79 times up until "The Last Word With Lawrence O'Donnell" Tuesday evening.
The media continue to air silly segments asking why Donald Trump is leading in the polls, but the answer is simple: As political scientist John Sides has shown, the reality TV star’s standing in the polls is commensurate to the amount of media coverage he gets.

I think Trump is going to get MANY independent and working class Democrat voters. Even black and Hispanic voters see they are losing ground and jobs to illegals. He will surprise many and break the ‘grievance coalition’ that has given Democrats the last few elections.
Just PMSNBC trying to develop some legitimacy
It is called getting ratings... Trump is ratings gold and pmsnbc badly needs ratings..
He and Chuck Todd really seem to get along.
Ya know.....Trump is changing the political landscape in America. He is awakening many Blacks & Legal Hispanics as to how badly they have been screwed by Obama, his Obamabot Democrats, the CBC, The NAACP and isiots like Al when it comes to getting good paying jobs, opportunities and equality!!!
Ya know, too......Julian Bond, a major civil rights leader paased away a few days back...the Obamabot media gave him about three minutes air time. Of course, the low life vermin....better known as Al Sharpton gave him maximum coverage. Sadly, no one was watching or tuned in!!!
I think Mr. Trump is going to get voters of all political, ethnic & religious stripes backing his quest to become POTUIS!!! Fact is: Donald Trump is for “all” legitmate women & men who are truly Americans!!!
I’ve noticed that NBC seems to be promoting Trump, whereas it’s clear as day that all Murdoch media is trying to nuke him.
I get why Murdoch is scared to death of Trump: Murdoch will be unable to buy Trump, unlike all the other politicians he’s purchased via campaign “contributions”.
Not sure about NBC’s motive though. Get Murdoch? Mistaken believe Hillary will stomp Trump? Other?
NBC is doing this so they can then hack up the interview to make Trump look bad and by the time Trump can fire back and NBC goes, oops, the damage will be done.

that might be the case, but if so, then they’re not doing a great job, because many who’ve watched segments of that interview thought Trump did just fine and that Chuck Todd was a world class douchebag.
I think it’s great that Trump is getting so much exposure but I can’t help wondering what the 24/7 coverage is distracting us from.
I know they’re still wrangling over the Iran deal and Hillary’s e-mail scandal and PP.
There must be something really really awful they want us to ignore, something even more dreadful than the aforementioned items.
I’m worried.
There was a liberal talking head on Fox Business today. Varney asked her, “Is Hillary done.” She basically, after himming and hawing said, “maybe.” Varney noted that the lack of a spirited defense from her spoke volumes.
She conceded the point. Liberals want her not to be done, but they all believe she is. This talking head then verbalized what she probably shouldn’t: “Who else is there?”
This is another reason why Trump is so popular. The GOP could take this in a walk, but they - a priori - are willing to concede to nearly every idiotic platform plank the left has.
Trump is smarter than anyone is willing to give him credit for. He can win. I’m at the point that I hope he does. Put Cruz in as AG and let the deportations begin.
Is that all it is?
The rats have nothing? Zero. Zip. Zilch. Nada.
I guess that must absolutely horrifying for the press, on top of the unstoppable Trump Express Train that just keeps right on blasting through everything in its path.
