I have watched that and seen what you are talking about. They are impressive, but how much is Ninja Warriors just a reality show? Toss in real div I wide receivers, and see who wins. Just sayin...
Sure it’s a reality show but not like Big Brother. Some contestants train intensely. There are professional athletes and West Point graduate contestants.
Plus, as women trying to make it in man’s world, they have to have more fortitude than their male counterparts. Female cadets often face extreme vulgarity and harassment because men (understandably) don’t want them there. If you want to play with the boys, you’d better be tougher than most of them.
Having said that, I agree with other posts. I don’t see the point. If they can’t serve in combat, why bother?
