I don't care for that, but in spite of it Cruz remains the most conservative candidate in the race.

“Lifelong liberal” Trump was not casting votes in the United States Senate to enable Obama’s secret trade deals. I’d put a heck of a lot more weight on that action than whatever The Donald said about an issue 20 years ago. Fact is their is no perfect candidate. Dinging one candidate while ignoring the warts on your guy is silly.
I could vote for Cruz after his TPA betrayal and bizarre attachment to H1B visas. But at the same time I certainly wouldn’t rule out supporting the candidate who has done more to mainstream conservative issues than anybody else in this campaign. That candidate would be Trump.
