It is very stupid to be "penny wise and pound foolish."
There are some people who react badly to vaccines, and some of those people die. The numbers are very small compared to the numbers of people who die without the vaccines.
The 1918 Flue pandemic killed between 50-100 million people.
In the US and Canada the Polio virus affected 42,173 people in 1949, and killed nearly 3,000 of them.
You are trying to compare the deaths of a very few numbers of people to many thousands or millions of people, and this is just foolish.
Who has the right to say who should sacrifice for whom? That cuts both ways.
And again what does the science predict given the anticipated level of conscientious objectors?
It is highly disingenuous to speak as though it was a binary choice of immunize everybody or put everybody at risk of disease.
Foolish you say?
Not if it’s YOUR baby thrown into convulsions for 3 days from her “baby” shot!
Not when she goes to sign up for kindergarten and you meet 2 other moms who went through the same horrible scene and were also lied to by their doctor and hospitals that this condition hadn’t been caused by the shot. Then I stopped playing the game until I was lied to again by the school saying I HAD to have my twins’ shots for them to start school.
Boy twin came down with all 3 kinds of measles from the measles shot.
End of that foolishness.
When my youngest ran into a dumpster while horsing around at school. I did take him for a tetanus shot and our doctor asked if he had had any other shots and when I told him no, he told me that I was a GOOD mom.
His nephew had been permanently brain damaged by his DPT shot.
Foolish, I think not.
