Maybe though they are owned by iHeart (formerly Clear Channel). If WTIC 1080 decides not to renew Rush, he may well wind up on 1410.

In Boston when WRKO decided not to renew Rush—thus giving Kuhner that noon slot, iHeart took their Spanish language WKOX 1430 to talk with Beck, Rush, Hannity etc. That may change next year when Rush’s contract with iHeart/Premiere syndication expires and Rush, if offered a contract at all,
may get “low-balled”...

WPOP was a pop/top 40 station years ago (hence the call letters) and they had a DJ named "Dale Denver"--real name Mike Adams, now doing night on the WEEI Sports Radio Network.

If POP is a small station they can’t afford El-Rushbo’s 500 Large a year. My guess is Kuhner will be a lot less than that... And as another poster noted TIC is a 50,000 watt blow torch and Rush loves those, WLS, WJR etc etc...
