The US and Canada are the only nations in the developed world that still allow birthright citizenship. We need to get rid of it.

I'm not saying I disagree but the 14th Amendment seems to tie our hands.

The 14th amendment has been misinterpreted into perpetuity. The Congress can likely change the interpretation without an amendment.
