The real question is how many in Congress have proposed sealing the border
to be elected, then drop the subject after being inflicted with Potomac fever?

I'm also talking about politicians in Congress who have voted down
sealing the border. No policy on immigration will work without sealing
the border first. Cruz will and has spoken directly on solving this crisis
long before Da'Donald woke up from his Corporate slumber.

And Cruz has the track record of actually trying. But just you and all others remember
that Cruz cannot as a Congressman do it alone, and neither can the other Conservatives
in Congress. And neither can Trump.

The President can make these changes happen, and only the President at this point.
Secure Fence Act of 2006 was supposed to do the job, but somehow got forgotten
after 700 miles were built.

On January 23, 2008 the 110th Congress introduced Reinstatement of
the Secure Fence Act of 2008 (H.R. 5124)
By DHS.

DHS is under the direct control of the President. So the President can
finish the border.

In May 2010, Senator Jim DeMint (R-SC) unsuccessfully reintroduced
his “Finish the Fence” amendment for the second time.

My point is that we've been lied to so many times it's inconceivable that
a candidate without a track record is taken at full face value in his words.
And not just any Republican candidate, but a NY-Democrat running as a Republican
and talking all the same lines as previous Democrats and Republicans.

Are Americans really that stupid? No. I pray not this time around. The Donald
is the flavor of the month, he talks a good game, but in reality is just
another Gdamn NY Democrat spouting Conservative values to get elected.

And the bastards blindly supporting this loon are going to have their just deserts
handed to them on a silver platter by myself and other "real" conservatives.

We are vetting candidates at this time, I suggest removing the blinders
and that ability to just brush aside reality because it just will not
do for our Constitution and the future of our Country.

What has Cruz done about sealing the border? What has he done about implementing a system to track and deport visa overstays who comprise 40% of the illegal aliens. Cite me some legislation he has proposed to solve these problems. Talk is cheap. The Donald isn't in Congress.

LOL. Only about 30 miles were build with double fencing as originally proposed. It was a Rep, Kay Bailey Hutchison, who undermined the Secure Fence Act with an amendment that essentially killed it.

It is worth a shot. I am finished with career politicians who promise everything and deliver nothing. Look at the condition of this country and tell me why I should support any of them.

Trump's immigration paper is revolutionary. It reflects what the American people want. We will see how it resonates with the public and then see how many Reps move in Trump's direction.
