The birther question to Trump was meant as a smear. I get a kick out Todd saying that you could go to their website to see the rest of the interview including Trump talking about NATO, civil war in Saudi Arabia, etc. They can air the birther question but not the more substantive ones like he listed. The heavily edited Trump interview was terrible in terms of journalism. Trump still emerged unscathed.
