Debunked by our own Sam Adams76 who showed that his following grew by 300,000 in the last three weeks alone, or more than Walker has altogether. In fact, even if you accept the premise of the article Trump, at 40% of his numbers, still has 10 TIMES Walker’s, and virtually all the million or so added since June are interested “political” voters.

I'm updating the numbers later this weekend and posting them but as of last weekend, Trump had added 300,000 new Twitter followers in August alone (barely two weeks) which was almost as many new followers as all the other candidates combined picked up in the same period.

Growth of Twitter followers are a good measure of enthusiasm for a given campaign. I don't focus as much on the total number of followers but how many have signed up in a recent period.

Once August is done, I'll reset everything and start fresh on September 1.
