Little yappy dogs in the ‘hood can cause early morning turmoil in the household in response. Fortunately, I can resume sleep until about 9 am. YMMV....
I feel your pain.
Sometimes, the neighbor comes home from work at 4AM and lets his little terrier out to pee.
Then, my Window Watch Podengo yips to alert the other dogs and the male Dobe instantly launches himself from his customary sleeping/guarding position, across my hips, by using my stomach as a springboard.
Then, we’re ALL awake for a while.
*ouch*
