Some deal! Some phony president!
Thanks to this narcissistic foreign aid student America could be the proponent of the greatest act of genocide in world history!
Boehner and McConnell: get off your dead asses and do something for your country and the world! Remove this counterfeit president and his entire evil retinue.

an electromagnetic pulse attack that destroys our electric grid, putting the nation in the dark for months and eventually leaving 90 percent of Americans dead from disease or starvation. Not to mention rioting -- but 90% seems improbable to me. Excluding the doomed large urban areas -- the resiliency and innovation of the remaining Americans will overcome the challenge.

First, Iran could deploy a nuclear warhead on one of its ballistic missiles and fire it at the United States. Fortunately our ABM sites in Poland and the Czech Republic will be able to shoot it down... wait, Obama did what?

Does an EMP weapon require as large of a package as a regular nuke? I am thinking that the EMP weapon would be lighter and require less of a delivery vehicle.
Who is giving Iran the plans to build an EMP? Has one been tested yet?

Obama asserts that without the Iran “arrangement”, they will have nukes within 6 months.
Obama is obligated to tell America exactly what part of the “arrangement” will stop them, and HOW it will stop them.
CIting the entire “arrangement” is non-responsive.

The rural population will be fine. Most of the deaths will be in the cities.

Will it happen? I don’t have a crystal ball so fortune telling is not my thing, but I can tell you this: the Persians are more concerned with Saudi Arabia, and more likely to use nukes against them.

Taking Saddam out was a monumental mistake.
Electing a jackass president just to show the world that Americans are not prejudiced was suicidal.

I figure about 80% fatalities for cities located in the blue parts of this map. Lower percentage outside of the cities in the blue parts. 10% in the red parts:
