I listened to the last half of the speech to get a better picture. I’d heard only 5 minutes or so for my first impression. I’ll move iy up to a C+.
I still think more structure is needed- “scripting” may be more accurate.
Of course that would conflict with the ‘personability’ of his presentation which is so good.
I was even more impressed with how like a dinner guest he was after the second listening. That is very different from what one sees in stump speeches, though politicians strive for it.
Wouldn’t surprise me if he improves with practice.

People like his honest style. Once he goes “scripted”, he’ll lose supporters. That’s what everyone is tired of — polished, scripted, BS-ing politicians.
