I say that because she had his secretary keep an eye on his activities. There was a keyhole in the door to the room where all the Monica activity took place. The secretary (I can't remember her name - the one who eventually got Socks the cat) saw all and reported all.
How did Old Slick have the time to canoodle with the intern? He had earlier complained that he didn't have enough time to himself. He spent his entire day getting his picture made with all those American people who did things that warranted a trip to the White House. He didn't have enough time for himself.
Meanwhile, Ronald Reagan did all that PLUS he made executive decisions and never took his jacket off while in the Oval Office.
While Hillary was making all the executive decisions, she got tired of hearing him complain about all the photo ops. So she gave him a few hours in the afternoon so he could just veg. And then in walks Monica wearing a thong and carrying a pizza.
Hillary was not upset that she was embarrassed because a sociopath is incapable of being embarrassed. Instead, she was upset that he got caught with his zipper down holding a stogie, thus injuring her chances for her presidential bid.
Hillary knew exactly what was happening.
And then, of course, there was Marsha Scott. She was what the Japanese call an “office wife.” Often the relationship is non-sexual, but of course, in Clinton’s case, it had to be for him to accept it.
She was the one Slick could “cry to.” If he ever loved any woman for more than a semester, it was probably her.
The night Vince Foster died (let’s not go there again...) in his own words, Clinton spent the night “crying in her arms.”
Everyone tries to make such a bid deal about the Clinton’s sexual escapades. Here in DC it’s long understood.
Bill and Hillary were, (and to a lesser extent, still are) “business partners.” They feed off each other. Each is where they are, in part, only because of the other.
Monica was one of many, many dozens if not not hundreds of women bedded by Bill.
Likewise, Hillary had her one “see, the plumbing works” baby, then went back to her girlfriends. Huma is by no means the first, but is probably the longest lasting. It’s just generally understood here that they truly love each other. (in a way gays do) ... and that’s better than Bill’s daily but different nooners.
