(CNN) The Iowa State Fair won't allow Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump to give kids free rides on his helicopter on fairgrounds, but the real estate developer has secured a nearby location.
The helicopter will take off from a parking lot outside the fair in Des Moines, campaign state chairman Chuck Laudner told CNN on Friday, adding that Trump may hop on a few rides as well.
CNN previously reported that the Sikorsky is one of three that he owns, seats 12 people comfortably, including the pilot.
Trump will arrive in the $7 million helicopter before holding a press event

“Trump Steaks” etc
Now I definitely have a reason to visit the Trump Tower lol
I think America should prepare to be amazed.
Trump is the 3rd generation entrepreneur (read "git er done" type).
He is gonna close this deal. The Presidency, that is.
BTW, your not exit 82 on I-75 by any chance are you? That’s my exit.
Donald could be a lot more fun as Prez than Bill.
You mean the “Helicopter Of The President-Elect”? LOL
Heads up....

Trump is The American Dream on steroids
From penniless to mega billionaire in the.generations
This is what legal immigrants can achieve.;-)
This is what Rubio, Cruz, and Jindle talk about and the Trumps do. Notice he has been very quiet about his family history not to take the air out of their stories All in the matter of time and decency
I attended the Ohio State Fair a few years back and almost never got out of the sheep barn. One particular sheep, for whatever reason, fell in love with me. Every time I tried to leave he/she would run up and down the pen bleating at me until I turned around and went back to pet him/her. I have photos of that short love affair. LOL
“He still needs FAA clearance for each ride if its not in the course of normal business.”
Really? Do you mean an air traffic control clearance? Surely you don’t mean a part 135 certificate. Local sightseeing flights are exempt from part 135.
If he wins the election, he will rename the WH - the Trump White House. Pennsylvania Ave. will be renamed Trump Blvd. He will insist on his likeness being added to Mt. Rushmore, and then insist it be renamed to Mt. Trump. The list goes on and on. I’m just being silly, of course.
“I figured out how Trump would get around parents signing releases.
He would get his aircraft insurance company to indemnify him for any losses.
He probably already has a policy in place”
Most aircraft owners have both hull and liability insurance. Parents cannot sign binding releases regarding liability. You can’t take away a minor’s rights. I know, it happens, but it won’t hold up in court.
No, you can’t get an insurance company to indemnify you against any loss. Example: You drive your car into a crowd of people. The insurance will pay the injured the limits of the policy, but the injured can sue you for their medical bills, pain and suffering, etc.
So what is the answer? Trump is going ahead with his plan...and you and I can be assured his liability is limited.
Perfectly legal and binding.
I appreciate your expertise in this area...enlighten us.
That is because that insurance policy has defined limits of liability.
