A Fox News Channel panel became heated Thursday as two conservative hosts on The Five clashed with their liberal colleague over the Planned Parenthood controversy.
Passions were ignited when Geraldo Rivera accused Eric Bolling of being against federal funding for Planned Parenthood because he is pro-life. Bolling was not in the mood for an on-air battle.
Can you not do this again today? Can you not do this again today? he asked.
Rivera continued hammering away at him.
Im not commenting on abortion, Geraldo! Bolling quipped. Im commenting on selling body parts!
What is a good abortion to you? Rivera interjected. What is a good abortion? What is a good abortion, Eric?
Bolling said a good abortion is one that saves the mothers life.
You know what a good abortion is? A good abortion is sitting in a clean place, where the womans health is protected! As opposed to a back alley! As opposed to a back alley where the woman dies with some butcher cutting her to pieces! Rivera said.

That exchange ALMOST inspired me to watch that reality show but I regained my sanity.
If I see Jerry Rivers on the Five I turn it off. I refuse to watch that self absorbed a-hole on any show.
Doctors state there are no conditions where abortion saves a woman’s life.
If the baby is already dead, naturally, its a stillborn event, the parents didn’t want the baby to die.
If its growing in the wrong place, it is an ectopic pregnancy, the parents didn’t want the baby to die.
If there’s some medical condition where the mother is at risk of immediate death, if the solution is going to result in the baby not surviving the procedures to save mom, it still is not an abortion, it is not a desired outcome and it’s not even performed the same way as an abortion procedure. And they try like hell to keep both alive if at all possible.
Whenever I see the puke, nauseating, little b@$%ard Rivera on TV I change the channel. Would really love to see Bolling pop him.
From where I stand it is most certainly a life altering event for the unborn baby, and for any woman having a baby who has a heart it would be for them too.
Rivera is awful but much worse is that airhead
Dana Perino. She is so stupid.
Fox thinks fair and balanced means if you get the truth then you just be subjected to liberal lies and propaganda. No thanks. Might as well read cartoon comic books to get any truth. I don’t feel like watching social commentary that does nothing but lie to me.
Doggone, Geraldo, could you hug that poor strawman any more tightly??
I stopped after the 2012 election and haven’t missed them a bit! This story is just another reminder that Fox is irrelevant.
Greg made the best comment that often comes to my mind when he said: (paraphrasing) “I hope you live a long life on the backs of aborted fetuses.” Geraldo became very defensive and jumped to the rape/incest cases. But Greg’s point is, why should the health of others, even a miracle cure be made on the body parts of aborted babies? If it’s ok to do this for unwanted pregnancies, what about unwanted children who are born. We rightfully wouldn’t think of that but since the child is unborn, it’s ok to use and process the parts any way they want? Geraldo got angry and said what about using the parts for dog food and Greg jumped back saying that was exactly the point he was trying to make.
I hope and pray that someday, society as a whole realizes what an ugly and immoral practice abortion has been. I’m not in favor of abortion in ANY circumstance but I understand the argument of Mother’s life in danger, rape or incest. If it meant doing away with all other abortions, I would go along with allowing them in those rare circumstances.
Hey Geraldo...You need to go look some more for Al Capone’s treasure and maybe along the way, interview some more skinhead bikers...*ROFL*
These people are all about the money and the power that money buys. They look at organs harvested from the womb as a natural resource that produces a never-ending revenue stream to their diabolical vision of America and the world.
They cannot be defeated on the moral battleground. They have no morals nor shame. Take away their money...you take away their powers... And they will fight to the end to prevent that.
Sue ‘em , jail’em and nail’em. And quickly my friends, before the next election cycle.
JMHO
Jedi.
“But Gregs point is, why should the health of others, even a miracle cure be made on the body parts of aborted babies?”
It shouldn’t.
I’d rather move on from this world then be cured by something derived from torn apart babies.
It’s time for Hair-al-dope to go. They should have booted his sorry a$$ long before this. He’s despicable.
“Eric, you cant win the argument by claiming there are good abortions.
Abortion NEVER saves the life of the mother.”
- my first thought EXACTLY!!! Drives me nuts when these “Conservative” news spokespeople supposedly speak for us - incompetently.
untrue, abortion could in very very rare cases save the life of the mother and in that case self defense doctrine would come into play.
the old saying about the word never is not 100% true but it is still pretty true.
I could see that it could happen rarely, like the mother’s blood pressure could be uncontrollable, or she has diabetic complications (kidney failure). Both could endanger the mother before full term.
Fox News seems intent on damaging their brand beyond recovery.
The only time an ‘abortion’ would save a woman’s life is when it is done in a hospital setting to terminate an ectopic pregnancy.
Modern medicine is so advanced now that there are virtually no instances when a child’s life could not be saved or at least an attempt made to save the baby’s life. When a mother goes into eclampsia, a C-section can be done with the newborn put into neo-natal care.
The concept of abortion is 19-20th century medicine.
