Here is one that will simply blow your sox off.

When I go to Rocky Point in Mexico from Phoenix, Arizona I often leave around 5:00 am on a weekday to get to the border at Lukeville by 6:30 am via a small road called Highway 8 that goes through Buckeye which you get to from interstate 10.

Well guess what.

American Yellow school buses are waiting in Lukeville to take Mexican kids who live in Sonoyta directly opposite Lukeville right over the border to American schools. You will see the Mexican kids walking over and hop on the buses on the way to Mexican schools.

How is that for the news of the day? It’s been going on for years.I’ve been going to Rocky point for over 15 years.

Yeah, we have the same thing in San Diego and Imperial Counties in California. Some of the most rural school districts in San Diego County wouldn’t survive without the Mexican enrollment.
