The real issue is not about the environment.
The EPA wanted more money and power over businesses & people.
They thought that this created mess would help get super fund status [ money & power ] to the government.
A week before The EPA disastrously leaked millions of gallons of toxic waste into The Animas River in Colorado, this letter to the editor was published in The Silverton Standard & The Miner local newspaper, authored by a retired geologist [ 47 years of experience as a professional geologist ] detailing verbatim, how EPA would foul the Animas River on purpose in order to secure superfund money..

What a pathetic mess Gina McCarthy and the EPA has caused with this fiasco.
She, the enviros and the Rats are trying to play the environmental damage down on this but I’d wager they’ll get a super fund out of it.
