I have been a computer software engineer for over 20 years and I have no clue what the hell that BS means
My guess is they moved the server data to another server that was not accessible online. That way they could start using the online server for other purposes. Might have just been rented. They still have the server data. They were just storing somewhere before archiving it in case customer wanted data back. The reason the reporter obfuscated the wording was so people would think data is gone.
