If so, and I do believe it's so, it is stupid marketing. All the other stations already show nothing but leftism. Fox has had that thing that is marketing gold: "sharp differentiation."
All that a left turn will accomplish is to empower a conservative start-up station, and to have to compete harder for viewers to all the other leftist stationss. But then, that's how leftists think. Shoving their transgressive ideology down other people's throats is more important than succeeding with the "bitter clinging mouth-breathers." They are more concerned with what cocktail parties they get invited to than with the "little people."
It might already be happening, at least a fair number of people seem to be searching for a different station. It was dumb for Fox to put on an event that average twelve year-olds should have known would offend many of their viewers.
Fox News has two more Republican debates and Fox Business has one. I wonder if they'll try to make those about issues and not about moderators trying to show, well, whatever they were trying show.
