I love how he came out, both barrels blazing, but he does seem to be toning things down. I think he is suddenly worried about sounding too hard.
I sometimes find he jumps from one subject to another, right in the middle of a sentence. He starts answering something, then his mind jumps to something else and off he goes. He seems a bit all over the place to me. OTOH, Ted Cruz stays on topic and seems to have no fear.
I think I read somewhere that Trump has ADD or hyperactivity or something like that. Or it could be that his mind is spinning ahead before he answers the last question.
