I would be shocked if Colin Powell used his personal email to do business. He was raised in the Army where the three fastest ways to get canned are; 1. Sleeping with subordinates, 2. Screwing up with money, and 3. Mishandling classified material.
Even if every sos had a personal email, the presence of classified, especially top secret, documents takes it to a whole new level. Anybody who mishandled classified docs, including past sos’ should be charged as well. The “everybody” did it argument should never fly.
Followed closely by:
4. Screwing the subordinates.
5. Sleeping with money.
