Fiorina has been doing the attacking. She has been showing her ugly side and there is no way I would vote for her.

Yep, she has been showing her “ugly” side, but she does it in a classy way; so, people give her a “pass”. Donald would be zooming in the polls if he was a little more diplomatic. If you get mad at your neighbor you don’t tell the entire neighborhood that you can smell her c*** all the way from next door. But, Donald would (and does), and it’s starting to wear thin with a lot of people. They’re saying; o.k., enough already. It’s like Chris Christie’s big-mouth, in-your-face personna was o.k. at first, but, it wore thin and after awhile it became “too much” and turned people off.

Trump is far more thin skinned than I'd have expected from someone in his type of business. A large part of getting the deal done in any major building development is purely political and much of that is the dirtiest side of politics, mob influenced or controlled unions, Tammany Hall type local politicians, etc. Rough and tumble doesn't cover it. Some of the people involved are literally dangerous criminals in $2,000 suits. So for Trump to get so easily baited into petty Twitter War exchanges with the press, who only benefit when they get the Donald to roar, and at such a level of vulgarity, seems odd.

But he is not stupid and I think this is at least partly based on a calculated estimate that the press is so hated by the people in this country that the petty pi$$ing matches he's jumping into will only make him stronger. If that's the case so far he's been right. It will be interesting to see if he senses when that strategy stops paying a dividend. Will he at that point begin to act more like a statesman and less like a contestant on the Jerry Springer Show?
