Reading this just sickens me.....
Brett wanted an excuse to use his nuclear option on Trump....and Trump alone!

I agree that the damage done, was done by FoxNews, to itself. But going forward, Trump could have blacklisted FoxNews, which, as long as he is popular, hurts FoxNews ratings.
In reality, there is something for both sides if Trump agrees to appear on FoxNews product - another business calculation that changes, depending on how FoxNews leads the discussions.
Maybe he should exercise a little veto power. He is the boss.
Trump won for two reasons:
- kelly’s attacks were leftist. It was a republican debate, where leftists are disliked.
- trump won the audience to his side, both with his refusal to die and his excellent use of using the pop cult (namely rosie odonnel) against kelly’s leftist attack.
Everything that has transpired since then was in Trump’s favor and fox’s/megyn’s disfavor.

To clarify - viewers should not have HAD to expect partisan behavior from supposedly neutral moderators, although clearly some did.

Ailes apologizes to Trump. Yet, does not defend Kelly, his employee.
What part of a rebuke to Kelly by Ailes do you not understand?

Funny thing is that Valerie Jarrett this the one causing all the drama. Rupert and Valerie cut a deal to keep his son James from being indicted here in the United States for the UK phone hacking scandal.
If you want to know why James is moving Fox to the left, and why Rupert Murdoch is having dinner with Valerie Jarrett and ordering hits on Trump, you have your answer. And James Murdoch’s wife used to work for the Clinton Foundation!

There is no such thing as a neutral moderator. It's a myth promoted by the press, to build trust, which facilitates the press setting the social agenda.
Well Trump at least maybe has gotten the this discussion out of future debates.

they also weren’t asked many questions about public policy. Obamacare, Jobs, coal epa takover. some really hot topics. and the o’donnel crap was old news then generalized into women, which is the tactic of left/alynsky and lawyers. he should have asked for the list. mk probably had no list cause there isn’t one. here’s how the question would have been asked. Did you call rosie o’donnel a fat pig. The room would have erupted into laughter and the d would have said of course she is. It is the deceptive phrasing of the question that makes her a liar.

Regarding Ailes phone call to Trump.
What else would he call Trump for except to apologize.
Ailes called Trump. Trump did not call Ailes.
Trump is a political genius. He knows HE IS the main draw. He’s just put ALL media on notice: Treat him like everyone else or else you won’t get rating.
Trump is going to handle a lot of our enemies this same way.
In time, we are going to have a lot more nations not only friendly, but more than willing to do our bidding.
And, I predict, it won't cost us a cent. It didn't cost trump anything to get Ailes on his knees.
