Well ain't that strange. The header says "2/3 back registration" yet the first line says "...more likely.." Sounds like settled science to me. Frankovicly my dear, I don't give a damn. Musta looked up the new revised obie approved definition of 'infringed'.

2/3 of Americans support gun registration, and 1/3 of American own guns.

I favor a public registry for all the guns in government agent hands.

I would prefer registering politicians and making them wear ankle bracelets.

The American public as a whole are much more likely to favor stricter gun laws than gun owners
The American public as a whole favor stricter regulation of alcohol than drinkers.
The American public as a whole favor stricter gambling laws than gamblers.
The American public as a whole reads less news that subscribers to newspapers.
Who'd a thought it?

This is total horse hockey. 2/3 of the American public do not favor a gun registry. Wishful thinking of the progressives.

I and millions of other gun owners consider national gun registration to be a trigger event for Civil War II. Commie progs should bear that in mind. When they come door-to-door to force registration, which is virtually the same as confiscation, the festivities will begin.

Guess the same crowd that backs door to door registration of weapons is the same bunch that says we are ‘weeweeeeing up a rope’ thinking 20 million illegals should be ‘tracked down’ and returned to whence they came.

I personally think the job of returning the illegals would be somewhat less complicated and simpler than
a/going door to door about weapons
b/getting cooperation from the weapons owners
c/doubt there are enough LEO to conduct a nationwide house to house search as it would almost have to be done simultaneously lest those not ‘checked’ today surely wont have them tomorrow.

Think the Brits tried something like this at Lexington/Concord and we know how that worked out.

Note that they deliberately took the poll when the Aurora Theater shooting was in the news.
