Note the complete lie that Trump said MK was hormonal. NYT led with this lie today on page one.
Note also the Republicans who are characterizing Trump’s comment as disgusting and with “no excuse.”
Jeb Bush: “Trump’s comments about Kelly insult all women, and they make up more than half the national electorate.”
Contrast that with Sen. Ted Cruz who told reporters that candidates should treat others with “civility and respect,” but added the nation’s problems won’t be solved by “obsessing over the politics of personalities.” I think Cruz was the most honorable of them all when he chose not to capitalize on the false statement attributed to The Donald.
When does it get to libel? I’d say they’re pretty close.
