Embattled Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump hit back hard on Sunday at critics who say he went too far with caustic comments about a U.S. television news anchor, insisting no apology was necessary and defending his relations with women.
"I've had such an amazing relationship with women in business. They are amazing executives. They are killers. They are phenomenal," Trump said on ABC's "This Week."
The billionaire and television personality, who leads the polls in the race for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination, appeared on Sunday news shows to rebut the latest wave of outrage triggered by his off-the-cuff talk.

Asked on ABC if he thought he had gone too far, Trump said, "No, not at all."
He said he has always had "a great relationship with women" and has hired "thousands" of top-level female employees.

Looking at his life, it’s obvious he LOVES women. Beautiful wives, running the Miss American Pagent, etc.

Why doesn’t Trump ask the media and feminazi groups about their vile and shameless treatment of Sarah Palin? Let them explain that one.
Trump said his comments about blood coming from Kelly were misconstrued as a reference to menstrual blood or hormonal activity and called that interpretation “deviant.”
He said he meant to say “nose, ears” and was implying that she was angry.
“She asked me a very, very nasty question,” he said on “This Week.”
One good thing out of all this, he no longer has to say ‘all the great Mexican employees I have’
The beautiful wives and pageants aren’t really a good defense for necessarily respecting women.
But the women executives are—and he’s reportedly relied on a number of them over the decades.
And he gets FOX antagonists to broadcast his story, provide support and appeal to those outside of GOP at same time. Brilliant.
I’m sure Wallace’s ratings will be through the roof today with Rand Paul! NOT!

I’m a woman, I don’t have a problem with him, I know disingenuous selective outrage when I see it. I also recognize the threat to our nation posed by illegal immigration and bad negotiators.
Anybody who has ever lived in the city is familiar with the drop in crime that results from “inviting” the usual suspects to leave town. It’s not too much of a stretch to see Mexico employing a similar strategy, especially when they refuse to take them back!
Besides all of that, people with names like Chris Wallace don’t have periods, period, and certainly not through their eyes.
This is nothing but ginned up hysteria and a witch hunt!

You notice Megyn Kelly has not responded at all. She should come out and say “everyone relax”. As a woman I knew exactly what Trump was saying. It is Erick, whose mind went into the gutter. Megyn Kelly always said she can defend herself, she doesn’t need some guy defending her. Why is she so quiet this weekend?
Hope Trump has an event in Atlanta. The crowd will be enormous. and put Erick in his place....
This thing is so ridiculous. All of the problems in the world right now and the first question out of the box in a presidential candidate debate concerns women’s feelings. Now all of the focus is on women’s ‘bleeding’. How about the nations ‘bleeding’? Trump needs to just ignore this crap. The more he keeps trying to justify himself, the worse it looks.

She asked a provably out of context and demeaning gotcha question. Interesting to see a FReeper not have a problem with that type of MSM shenanigans.
I agree it was a stupid gotcha question. But, running for President of the United States, one should expect to receive stupid gotcha questions. Turning from that to an all-out attack on the person who asked the question is, or should be, "below" the stature of a Presidential candidate. But not Trump. Nope. Criticize him publicly? You can bet he will be on Twitter, slinging childish insults in your direction. Because that's what he does. And that's what he's always done to pretend that this is just about Kelly, or that this is even just about his campaign, is to ignore the petulant child that Trump is, and has been, for a long time.
I heard him on Meet the Press just now, David Gregory asked and doubled down on asking about Megyn Kelly. Trump answered him rightly and explained to him the destructiveness of PC for preventing substantive discussion, especially now when we are in trouble as a nation. Guided him right back to what matters! You know though that what the caption maker got out of that was that “Trump won’t apologise”, which is bogus.
Don’t say this...he and his sycophants on here have VERY thin skin.

True. Yknow, one of the Trumpette losers yesterday called Trump an “alpha male” and compared him to Teddy Roosevelt. Which reminds me of how Roosevelt responded to what he believed was unfair criticism:

There you have it, how a real man responds to criticism. Roosevelt called out the critics, sure. But he did so eloquently, forcefully, and in a way that drives your message home. Trump goes on Twitter, attacks them personally, and calls them losers. It’s the difference between an alpha male leader and a middle school bully.
Yes they will all softball him today. I am loving it.
