I think there are only a couple of candidates that he would run third party against. Jeb is one. And frankly, if Jeb or Christy did win, I would vote for Trump.
He might have a great shot of winning 3rd party if the election comes down to Bush, Clinton. A lot of people don’t want to see the dynasty crap again.
I’d like Trump to put the establishment in their place and answer every attack with answers that shut them up. His words in the debate didn’t work that way.
If he’d go 3rd party, he should smart up on his answers. Going for the personal jugular, he’d get the vote of some, but he risks losing much needed votes.
Trump is liked or passionately disliked. He can’t afford to do this half-apt.
I’m with you on voting for Trump if push comes to shove. It’s really sad, seems to me, that even with so many really good candidates conservatives might have to vote for the “lesser of two evils.” Not too different from the last 2 elections. I miss the excitement of the seventies and eighties when we felt empowered and excited about who we voted for. Selecting someone on the basis of damage control is disheartening.
