Honestly, I can buy Trump’s take. Because I’ve been there. You say or mutter something innocent, and a lot of nimrods around you immediately interpret it as some kind of smutty double-entendre.
It’s irritating, but it’s become a part of modern American culture and language, where virtually every comment or piece of dialogue uttered seems to carry an ulterior or ironic meaning. It’s really seeped in, that combination of detatched irony and overall trashiness, into the fabric of the culture.
Republican want someone like Trump.
When attacked first he defends himself like a man should.
As a martial arts practitioner, the best defense is good offensive action.
Trump can’t help it if he hits like a heavy weight.
Trump is fearless, and I think he can handle the Democrats and the media better than anyone else.
I respect his fight and lack of PC BS.
“...where virtually every comment or piece of dialogue uttered seems to carry an ulterior or ironic meaning.”
Toss in the fact that so many folks now consider themselves “victims” ...and they’re a hair-trigger pull away from being offended...
That’s very well said.
