The famous 76 speech where he coined the phrase:

My gosh. This man ...was...a genius.

Bush 1 really screwed the pooch IMHO. If he kept President Reagan’s smaller government momentum going, we would not be where we are now.

It is interesting that the GOPe has been dominated by the Bush Family since before Reagan was elected. Reagan had to choose Bush as a running mate in order to appease the GOPe and keep them from rebelling against his candidacy. When Reagan’s term expired, George HW Bush took the country on a hard left turn and it has been traveling that road ever since.

GWB pretended to be a conservative, but in the end he was as liberal as Bill Clinton.

Here we are 30 years later and the Bushes are still pushing the GOP to the left and selling out the nation to corporatists and illegal aliens.

We need another Reagan. Someone willing to stand up to the GOPe.

Only one man raised his hand when asked if he would not rule out a third party if he didn’t like the GOPe nominee.

Reagan ran against a sitting GOPe President. They never forgave him for that. His own party worked against him at every turn. But he was successful because he was relentless in his determination to make America Great.

The GOP is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Cheap Labor Express.

GOP voters have only been offered amnesty candidates since the last amnesty.

¡Yeb! is the worst one yet.

Why would you say Trump or Cruz. You’ve chosen a liberal and a conservative. I don’t get it.

Reagan was, is, genuinely loved, and respected, as a person. Not as a politician. Unlike b.o., who lied every step of the way to get what he wanted.

One only needs to remember that the Reagan's were loathed by the Bush's.

Bush's pretended the Reagan's were the uncouth Hollywood actors, while they were the "true" established American aristocracy!

Geo. W. being descended from King George III, Reagan was descended from the unworthy Irish!

I’m glad conservatives are starting to wake up now, but where were all these anti-Bush people during the Dubya era?

That man was one of the worst presidents in history and did massive damage to the USA. He also turned off the younger generation to the GOP through his idiotic invasion of Iraq and embrace of the police/surveillance state. Bush lost Congress and caused the Obama presidency, again, mainly due to the war.

At the time, there was almost no criticism of Dubya from conservatives. The few who did criticize were attacked relentlessly and largely hounded out of the movement.

Years later, the same people who were hypnotized by the upper crust Connecticut Yankee’s phony persona as a good ol’ boy from Texas act like they have always been anti-Bush. If only.
