The beginning of the interview was the most telling. She states she isn’t totally conservative, and that she wouldn’t tell her political affiliation. That tells me she is a DEM.

You miss the point. What Trump said was tame at best and not wrong at all in actuality. So, if what Trump said was wrong, then what Megyn said here is wrong also.
