You don’t “run the numbers for policy” when dealing with true triage situations, which are uncommon.
It used to be well known that midwives in rural areas would carry a saw with their other gear. Enough said.
I'm disdainfully sick of their claptrap bullshit.
I disagree. It almost looked like an attorney (Kelly) prepping her client (Cruz) for a deposition or testimony with the opposition (MSM, Dems). Cruz handled it masterfully, I thought, without turning off the less-religious folks, atheists, liberals, and agnostics. It demonstrated his ability to handle a hand grenade very well. This is the big leagues and they all need to be prepared for questions like this from the enemy. Better to fail now than after you got the nomination. Fox can move on to more substantive questions after the field has been winnowed.
I agree. Maybe Kelly was by this time so rattled by Trump’s responses that she failed to see how this would backfire on her.
Yea I misspelled “Christian” again. so freaking what.
Being rattled or not, she showed contempt for God and His believers.
We are watching power corrupt Megan Kelly live and in HD. Over time, she could have become a beloved presence. Instead she is now seen as a drug-addled media whore who flew too close to the sun.
I agree.
A lot of people who usually vote Republican are turned off by Ted Cruz, though. You might think it shouldn't be that way, but it is, and thinking that it's wrong or unjustified or unfair doesn't change the impression some people have of Cruz.
We believe in a triune God, do we not? We also believe the Bible, including the Epistles are the divinely-inspired word of God through the Holy Spirit. Therefore, whatever Paul wrote, inspired by the Holy Spirit implicitly brings with it Christ’s imprimatur. Since God the Father, Christ and the Holy Spirit are one, there can be no conflict.
I guess everyone has forgotten that the question came from Facebook, as did many of the questions. They were selected and crafted by a panel of contributors over weeks.
...but I guess it easier to blame Meagan Kelly for everything at the debates, than accepting the fact that these are questions a large number of Americans wanted answered.
I wouldn’t have asked the question, but then I don’t spend much time on Facebook either.
Did anyone also consider it gave the 4-5 candidates asked, a chance to talk about thier Faith, without asking the predictable “Do you believe in God?” question to which they are all going to say yes.
Cruz answered it perfectly.
You are so right about Cruz being the big winner. Several folks I know switched from Trump to Cruz last night.
I dont think she was scornful. She always asks questions that way, to liberals as well. Its just her way.

I agree...she “cuts” both ways. But she is fair, IMHO, and doesn’t tolerate the political correctness Bull Crap.
Just shows you that beauty and brains usually don’t get together.
Gotcha question by Kelly absolutely knocked out of the park by Cruz. He couldn’t have had a better answer.
I agree with you there, POF. I thought that Ted handled the inane query deftly indeed.
That’s great news!
Unfortunately, Megyn has gone the way of most celebrities. Her popularity has gone to her head. Now, she no longer needs God.
Ted is amazing on his feet. But I guess that’s why he was the debating champ.
And yeah, Kelly is a liberal, which I already knew.
