there is a big difference between attending a homosexual marriage and Jesus eating with the tax collectors. One is a celebration of sin. The other is an opportunity for sinners to repent.
In the example you cite, Matthew had become a disciple and then invited his friends from the profession he was leaving to hear Jesus. Do you think He would have been permitted to “call the...sinners” to repentance at a homosexual wedding?
