I admit, I was somewhat disappointed in Donald Trump’s Debate performance last night. But, I did something; I watched the Debate re-run. Trump did so much better the second time I watched it. Sometimes, we want our “guy” to win so badly, we are kinda tensed up and when it seems he is being “blind-sided” or not doing to well and that distorts our perspective of it all. After viewing the re-run, or your DVR Recording of the event, you will see that he really did pretty doggone good. I learned this years ago when a minister said when he felt his sermon “bombed” he went back and listened to he CD of his sermon. Miraculously, 100% of the time, he did much better than he thought he did.
I agree with you. The same thing here. I was so enraged by the questions I honestly was blowing my top so, that I didn’t hear the answers well.
The second time through cleared the air.
Good point. I often rewatch NFL games and its easier to truly see what actually went on as opposed to when I saw the game live while rooting for an outcome (and drinking LOL)
