Frankly Kabar, if it were me on that stage, I would have done the same thing as Trump did...be different and tell it like it is..

But I’m not running and I could never become a good politician. It’s not in my toolbox.

Had Trump not given the media the ammo early on with his threat against the RNC when he said he might consider a third party run if they did not treat him with respect..(paraphrasing) I don’t think tonites display of honesty would have had the reaction it did.

But that’s just my opinion...Republicans have a very sour memory of what Perot did.

The Reps do it to themselves. The GOPe ignores conservatives except at election time. They want us to hold our nose and vote for losers. They control the process. It is how we got Bush 41, Dole, Bush 43, McCain, and Romney. The Reps have lost the popular vote in five out of the last 6 elections. Yet, they want to do the same thing over and over.

Trump is not my candidate, but at this point, I am willing to give him a shot just to stick it to the GOPe. In many ways, he would make a better candidate against Hillary than the others. The Dems have controlled the pop culture. Trump has been a reality TV star for 12 years. The LIV will eat him up.

Elections are no longer about issues, but rather emotions. Trump knows how to manipulate people with the best of them.
