but like he said, Reagan was a democrat at one time. By the time he ran for President, Reagan had served two terms as a conservative governor of California and delivered "A Time for Choosing". Trump comparing himself to Ronald Reagan is not just laughable, to a conservative it's sacrilege.

Reagan was a Conservative Republican for 18 years when he became President. Trump has claimed to be a Conservative for about 18 months.
