I give Trump credit for raising his hand. He could have lied and pledged his fealty to any of the GOP candidates. He could then break the pledge any time he wanted just like any politician that breaks their promises and pledges.
Trump has said that it depends on the nominee and also on how the RNC treats him. As long as it is fair, no third party. It is his Trump card. It is also a clever negotiating ploy.
The GOPe and the pundits have ridiculed Trump's seriousness about running. Initially, they called it a stunt and that he wouldn't run. Then they said he wouldn't file the financial information required. Then they predicted his demise over illegal aliens and his remarks about McCain. No doubt his demise is at hand again with his failure to move away from keeping his options open as far as running as a Third Party candidate. Each time these dire predictions are made, Trump's poll numbers rise.
It will be interesting to see the new polls when they come out.
Cruz should have brought some of his bacon.
With all the problems facing this country Megyn thinks name calling is right up there. Megyn, You are a thin skinned so-and-so. You lost a viewer.

I wish someone would post a poll of the loser and include the moderators as a choice.

It was THAT blatant that they were preventing him from doing what he should as best they could. It wasn’t the fault of his ego.

He should drop out now and shuffle back to the Senate and do whatever he does there.
No one in the media got worked up when Murkowski and Cochran went third party to sabotage the “party” nominee.

Now that right there is some funny $hit and sums up the night for me. Ted Cruz looked and sounded the most presidential and had the smartest answers. Ben Carson and Huckabee also very good.

It appeared to me they were in the tank for the Huskster.

It’s what I have been saying all along. Trump is taking the anti-Bush votes at the expense of the other candidates.
CRUZ got in everything that needed to be said in his 30 second closing statement.
