In the movie, it was Jeremy Brett, who later was a phenomenal Sherlock Holmes on PBS, who did that song. I never realized he did singing and dancing when he was young- I thought he’d been chosen specifically for Holmes, as he was perfect for the role! I wish they’d put those back on...
