Don’t get me wrong, not a Trump fan. Trump is really just pointing out that our politicians have been just giving away our economic strength with deals that hurt us. I think Trump is saying that, for once in a long, long time, he will bite back to work out fairer deals for the US and our workers.
No, they won’t roll over . . . but maybe, for a change, we will STOP rolling over for them.

I get what you are saying, but I also believe that just willing others to do this or that or even trying to command them to do something isn’t going to do squat.

Oh give me a break! If I have to read one more person putting words that Trump isn’t actually saying into his mouth so that they can justify supporting him, I think I’ll puke.
He has no policy ideas whatsoever. None. Virtually everything he says has been contradicted in the past by one very important person, Trump himself.
But go ahead, support old “I’m mad as hell and I’m not going to take it anymore!” if it makes you feel better. He’s as credible as Howard Beale ever was.
