McDonald’s Apple Pie, which was once 2 for $1 is now 1 for $1.
That is 50c more than I am willing to pay for some dough, sugar, and an apple slice or two.
The coffee is still $1.00 for any size, but the price varies from franchise to franchise.
I struck up a conversation with the janitor who greeted me while waiting for my take out at mCdOnald’s. Usually I know the same price when ordering food but in this place, it was up 75 cents from the usual.
The guy tells me the McD’s was private owned and he told me specifically which McD’s in a 5 mile radius were company owned. I surmised that the price I usually get were from the company owned franchises. It always pays to speak to the little guys to get information.
