If you have Google Earth installed, you can see historical imagery. There is some ups and downs to the ice...or more likely, there is a seasonal aspect to this, and much of what is visible is snow pack on to of the mountains surrounding the glacier.
Not framed exactly same but recognizable features from one year ago.
