First of all, I am a Cruz supporter but I am also a Realist.
He has been saying many of the things that Trump is saying now and he has gained no traction.

A lot of that is due to how he is labeled an Extremist not only by Democrats and the Media, but the Establishment Republicans as well. The Slander that Cruz shut the Government down because he such a meanie flows from both sides.

I don’t think Trump is a “Conservative” and he has never said he was, but that has nothing to do with the fact that he is appealing to every Demographic just by speaking his mind and talking Common Sense.

Some people love it and some people hate it, but Trump doesn’t just lay down like President Bush did when he is attacked. That “it’s just Politics” crap that Bush sold us gave us Obama.

Trump doesn’t care where the fire is coming from, he fires back and doesn’t let People think that no reaction means the attack is the Truth. That is what Republicans have done and all the Lies have become Truth over time to a majority of Americans. Denying that is denying reality.

All I know is that Trump seems to be appealing to the Apolitical (silent majority?) types. Bringing more People into the Republican Party is something he is doing all on his own, and he is still vilified, amazing. Are any of the other Candidates attracting those potential Voters?

At this time I could support a Cruz / Trump Ticket but I am becoming more flexible every day. For all we know, Trump could fall flat in the Thursday Debate and there will be a reset. Then again, I’m beginning to think the opposite will occur. You just don’t know, but it sure is fun to watch.

Actually, Trump has been saying he is a Conservative in multiple interviews. Might I suggest ear swabs, lol.
