Incremental victories are still victories, and look at what the left has done incrementally over the last 60 years...
As the last year has shown, electing progressive Republicans is not a victory. In fact it has turned out worse than just having the Dems in power because now there is a “bipartisan” veneer to the obama agenda.
I was speaking to defunding them, as opposed to the wider vistory of shutting down the baby killing business.
Progressive politicians of any stripe are anathema to freedom.
I don’t think conservatives can play the incremental game very well for a couple reasons. 1. Conservatives work for a living and have religious and familial duties. Incrementalism takes a “long march through the institutions.” 2. Once conservatives compromise on anything (which incrementalism demands), they tell the opposition their position wasn’t really right. Conservatives are bound by conviction, not preference. The left can play it because right and wrong always shifts as culture evolves and situations dictate.
