I dont know if its going to be Hillary because to honest the problems shes got with the e-mail stuff I mean I dont know how she can run. Because Petraeus as you know was just destroyed over the same thing except his is a much, much more minor infraction and what she has done is criminal so I just dont know if she is running or not. But I believe that I would absolutely beat her and or Biden or whoever is gong to run because the country is ready for such a change.
Trump is just a reality tv star, some freepers say so.

Well I can tell you this. I would and I was also in support if the Republicans stuck together you could have done it with Obamacare also, but the Republicans decided not to stick together and they left a few people out there like Ted Cruz. You know, they left a lot of the people who really went in and wanted to do the job and you know what? If they had stuck together they wold have won that battle.

He lost me when he had no clue what the nuclear triad was.
A for conviction, F for knowledge in this interview.

I put it up because Trump was quite clear on thing I heard him talk about for the 1st time. Triad - Land Sea Air... nukes. Trump had the idea but needs to be schooled on the details. Hugh is annoying at times but the Candidate interviews are interesting.

Were you ever for Trump? I don’t know, but minutae on the distribution of nukes land sea air is delving in the details, and there is time to learn.

I know what you mean. I can't stand it when a supposedly educated politician can't correctly pronounce "nuclear."
That being said, look over all the issues of the candidates. Who do you prefer?

The Pubbies in power don’t want to win the battle, that’s the problem. The news media goes after them and they wilt.

I meant lost me as in I wrote him off from consideration.
Understanding that the nuclear triad is composed of Strategic bombers, land based ICBMs, and Submarine Launched ICBMs is primer level stuff.
Understanding that the Ohio’s are approaching the end of their life span, that the Minuteman Crews had a cheating problem, and that BUFFs are older than their pilots fathers is high school material.
I would like a Presidential Candidate to demonstrate understanding of the erosion of stealth technology’s advantage, where hyper sonic planes are in development, and be able to articulate the pro’s and con’s of spending on strategic weaponry vs funding a conventional force resourced and capable of handling the Hobbesian, 3 block war world we find ourselves.
Some of this stuff does not lend itself to Cliff notes.

Absent anyone being able to convince Dick Cheney to run (Slogan: “The World is Evil. America Needs a Mean Bastard”),
First screen on my list: Candidate must have been a Governor. Anyone who has only been a member of the D.C debating club needs to go home and show they can run something besides their pie hole before applying for the big job.
That said, I like Walker- he fights, understands that $$$ are the political center of gravity, and that killing the public unions is the defeat mechanism for the left.

I don't think that's it. The media is in on the grift. Dumbocraps and GOPe are on the same side. Good-cop bad-cop. It's just a game they play with us where we vote one side in to keep the other side out. They're on the same side! Look how they vote!

Nuclear triad? That's my big issue too!☺
Come on. Why do you think they have things like briefings, wars rooms and top trusted people in military field, top experts in every field? It takes a leader to appoint the right people, listen to the advisers, weigh it up and make the right decision. Trump said he would appoint the best we had to run the military and call the shots. And he clearly would opt for a no nonsense aggressive, capable war boss. I think he said one of his heroes was Patton.
What's ironic with Patton here, is even many allied leaders did not like Patton, but he was very much respected by the German high command.
Don't cut yourself short.

You said what she has done is criminal. Do you think people widely recognize that Donald Trump? As a side note, one of the things I like about Hugh's interview style is his constant use of the other person's name. Nothing is worse than tuning into an interview not having a clue who the host is talking to. Hugh is aware that there are new people tuning in all the time. Interviewers, take note.
