Yes, Surgeon-General (or Sec of HHS, which frankly ought to be one in the same) is an oft-mentioned office for Dr. Carson whomever gets the nomination.

At present, there appears to be 2 primaries and 2 caucii prior to Super Tuesday (IA caucus-Feb 1st; NH primary-Feb 9th; SC primary-Feb 20th; NV caucus-Feb 23rd). Super Tuesday itself falls on March 1st (includes 10 primaries: AL, AR, GA, MA, NC, OK, TN, TX, VT, VA; and 2 caucii: CO & MN).

I profess to not knowing how many delegates will be up (I’ve never figured out the byzantine manner with which they’re awarded. I don’t think a lot of “experts” here understand it, either).

Vote for who you like. But it does not change the truth of my statement.

Norm, I hate to put an end to your fanciful day dreaming, but nothing is accomplished by playing the game that sees us nominate Jebra for president.

He is second to Trump right now. He is following the same exact game plan and positions exactly how Dole, Bush, McCain, and Romney were.

That’s the truth.

That’s reality. It’s not some pie in the sky day dream about how you would love to see things play out.

A lot of us played that lovers game between 1996 and 2012. Some of us aren’t buying into the GOPe rigged game this time around.

You folks go ahead if you like.

Moral to the story: We The People Are Pissed

DC Cartel are clueless and don’t know their corruption has been exposed.

Then by all means, tell me what was not factual in my statement. In detail. Not what gets Libs elected or what you want to be there.

What was not factual?

Cruz should win TX, Huck, Arkansas. Trump is leading big in NC. I haven’t heard about any of the rest of the states, but it seems like a Trump or Cruz or Walker would win GA, AL, OK, TN. No clue on VT or MA or MN.

So basically it comes down to anyone standing at the Pillars of Styro touting hope and change?

1. Just about every cadidate plays off a hope for change from the populace - they may not use that catch phrase, but this is a common theme none the less
2. The premise that anyone promoting hope or a tweak in direction would be acceptable, is thus an assinine premise

How is a hail Mary pass any different in actual on the ground functionality? Both are wishful thinking over principled voting.

1. Every election we are offered promises by Republican candiates
2. Every time they fail to deliver on most of them
3. What has a vote for any of them turned into, if not a hail Mary?
4. Every vote for a Republican(D) these days is a wishful thinking over a principled vote
5. It if wasn't, there would be a viable third party at his point in time

We don’t get guarantees. If you want a thing you sorta gotta vote for it. Win or lose.

1. How has that worked out for us since Reagan?
2. Are you the only guy who votes for principle during elections?
3. You don't think the rest of us have been voting for the best we could during the primaries and caucuses?
4. Win or lose, how did losing work out for us during the last eight years?  Was that progress for the nation?

Other than that, you're spot on.

Thats a brilliant summation of the DNC talking points that elected Barry. All hope, no substance. How has THAT worked out for the now fully leftist GOP?

Norm, you asked. You got the critique you demanded.

It was not a Democrat’s talking point.

It was based on stark reality and you know it.

What reality? Reality is that thinking, acted upon. got us a 100% compliance rate between the GOP and DNC. And YOU know it.

That’s an interesting question about Ben Carson. He’s nowhere on the networks and I haven’t heard about any public appearances, although I’m sure there’ve been some but he polls high.

The ploy now that I see on Facebook is that opponents of PP are against poor women getting healthcare. They are claiming that most of what they do involves healthcare; i.e. preventative medicine, REFERENCES for mammograms. You see, they don’t actually DO mammograms... they just tell women they need it.

Another current ploy is how many pro-life people would be willing to step up to help support these unwanted babies. Apparently, you have to be willing to adopt or support 3 or more babies to have a legitimate right to be pro-life.

Norm. Please stick to reality.

What did your game plan result in in 1996, 2000, 2004, 2008, and 2012?

IT DIDN’t WORK. We got Leftists every single time. That is the reality.

You have the Democrats and their fan-boys the Republican leadership. You’re not winning against them.

We have gone Clinton, Bush, Bush, Obama, Obama.

Just what do you consider to be bottom of the barrel? At what point do you step back, take a look at what you advocate for and admit it isn’t working?

What did you gain from not voting for McCain or Romney?

At some point we have to jump back in. We can’t simply let people like Obama, Hillary, or Sanders get a free ride in.

That is reality.

And YOU KNOW IT.

This is the post of the night!

I hope Freepers notice WHO supports Trump.

The Leftists aren’t supporting the RINO’s...but Trump.

Go figure.

Hey, Doughty, here is where I’m at. I’m praying Donald won’t go third party and I think he’s way too smart to. He’s giving the Repub mainliners a heads up; if they are smart, they will listen. Okay, we know they aren’t smart but ...

I am for Cruz, Trump, Walker in that order.

If the worst should happen... I don’t think it will, but if it did. Say Jeb Bush gets the nomination. Here’s what I will do. I will change his name. His first name will be Not and his last name will be Hillary or Biden. And I will vote for him.

If Hillary gets it, it would be awful. If Biden gets it, it would simply mean a third term for Obama.
