The convention is most likely going to be brokered. At that point, All Trump would have to do is offer the RNC a big check if they hand him the nomination. Guess what they would do.

Money talks and bullshit walks. And with the elites in the RNC, money is the almighty.

Considering Trump’s history there’ll be two pro-abortion, pro-national healthcare Democrats running.

He said he would not do it if he’s treated fairly by the Republican Party. Big if.

No because only 9% is hard support so I think that 19% would split giving Trump at best 10% of dims.

That being said he could be a wrecking ball for them if he sucks out 19% of their base by running as a Republican. That would, IMO give the Republicans a landslide. He can do that as a populist effectively running his third party within the Republican establishment which is actually what he is doing right now.

The dims have their own problems too. Bernie sanders is technically an independent and not a dim. So he could just as likely decide an independent run much in the model of ron paul. In that case he would drive more of those 19% towards Trump, split the remaining dim vote then Trump might have a plurality in a 4-way race.

“Factor in that, if the GOP nominee is Bush, half the party sits it out. Suddenly a third party is not so funny, in fact GOP collapses.”

You bring up a GREAT POINT. If Bush is the nominee and half of the party stays home...just imagine what happens down-ballot. Bottom line is that either Trump or Cruz need to be on at least one ballot - or we are doomed.

GOP nominates a Bush and I’ll gladly vote Trump in a third party. NUT, if the nation’s economy has not collapsed/been crashed by the Fall 2016 elections, what person would want to be the president as the nation disintegrates into chaos, mob rule, starvation, disease and murder?

There are increasing numbers of R/D and Independent Americans who would like nothing better than putting the screws to the 2 Parties. They both participated in the incompetence that loaded this country with debt, immigration and jobs in China. It didn’t have to be.

Their banker pals that got bailed out will continue to live high. They are the ones that are pushing their political minions to disarm the masses.

I believe Trump is just using the third party threat to keep the RNC in line. They are desperate to jettison him.

DINGDINGDING!!!!!

Add in legal Hispanic’s and those that are not either Dims or Repubs and don’t vote but will for Trump, and he has 55+% whether he is the GOP nominee or Third Party.

Trump’s two problems are the GOPe fixed delegate process and Democrat machine massive voter fraud. I think Trump is smart enough to have foreseen the first one and has his people in place for the backroom delegate procedures but he needs to hammer voter fraud hard, long before the election.

What percent of voters can Dims manufacture? 15%?

The media is waiting for Trump to say or do something that they can manipulate into something that they can hype as a negtive. This is the polar opposite of how they’ve treated Hillary where they want to tamp down any of her negatives.

The consolidated media has become a vehicle of propaganda for the establishment elites to control the sheep, just as Pravda was in Soviet Union.

Trump is a deal maker. He knows that the most important thing about making a deal is leverage. IMO, Trump is setting up the leverage he needs to stop the RINOs from playing dirty, and not plotting a true 3rd party move. The pubbies need to make sure that the dems don’t false-flag a dirty move on Trump and get blamed for it.

Anything is possible but nothing can be determined this far ahead. Just a few weeks ago nearly everyone in both major parties considered Hitlery to be the GUARANTEED winner of the big D primary and many considered her certain to be the next president, forgetting that that is what they were saying before the ‘08 primary. Now it seems nearly certain that Clinton will be forced out. A month from now Trump could be in the dump. Somehow I don’t expect it but it could happen.

69 percent for Republicans is “nearly” a landslide?
Is the Mississippi “nearly” a river?

Can't argue with that, just hope it comes true. We'll know Thursday.

If john stewart leibowitz and MSNBC are totally all over Trump on Friday morning, then he hurt them so they will have to trash him.
