Consequences need to accrue to those within Islam who acquiesce to the violence perpetrated in the name of the religion. This cannot happen while those like Jeh Johnson give them a pass.
If they were doing so, then we would hear of jihadis within their midst being turned in by other Islamists. We would see a mobilization of efforts to bring them to heel. We are not hearing or seeing anything of the sort.
That statement by Johnson looks to be tailor made for Donald Trump to use to point out the clueless, feckless inanity of Obunga, Joe Bidet, and the entire cabinet.
