I understand many of the concerns regarding Trump, many have validity. However, the times we’re in now require someone who is strong and fearless (and most of all, unapologetic). I’m sick to death of the gutless turds that infest the GOP like a cancer. One un-PC comment from them, the media attacks, and the cowardly toadies wet their underpants, apologize profusely and go hide in a corner. I’m so sick and fed up with it, you have no idea.
Willard, unlike Trump, was not in it to win it, but to stop a Conservative from taking the nomination and denying Zero his second 4-year tenure to drag America down further. Trump wants to win, he wants to obliterate the party establishment, and he is utterly un-PC and unapologetic. They hit him, he hits back twice and hard and knocks out their teeth and makes them piss their drawers and cower in a corner.
We haven’t had a man of strength and courage run for President since Reagan (sorry, kids, Dubya was a weasel, too, pretending to be a stronger force). It is such an incredible breath of fresh air, you have no idea. If he wins the Presidency, I sincerely believe he will take this country in a different and better direction and be able to deal with critics in a way virtually no other Republican can.
He’s already proven he’s surrounding himself with Conservative advisors, and not just for show. He also has the ability to get non-traditional voters to come over to support the GOP (and given that since after 1988, we’ve only gotten a majority of the vote precisely one time, that is needed badly). He also wants to instill patriotism back to America, and aside from a brief flare-up after 9/11, has frankly been missing for 3 decades.
I’m still voting for Cruz in the primary, if he’s still in, but as long as Trump continues his present course, I can indeed vote for him with a clear conscience in 2016 (indeed, perhaps the most enthusiastic vote since I started to cast a vote beginning in 1992).
Not to repeat what FMDJ said, but I agree with what he’s written.
Like I said before, IMO, there’s only 4 candidates worth looking at.
POTUS: Trump, Cruz
VP: Carson, Fiorina
The rest of the GOP field is “the same ole same ole”. It’ll be more Bush-esque political patty cake.
Like I’ve commented privately to some of you, for all of the hang wringing and suffering “our” side endures, here’s Donald Trump, who’s telling “them” to FO. If you don’t want that, don’t like that, then >>YOU’RE<< the problem. Go to Old Country Buffet. Wait for Lawrence Welk reruns to come on.
I’ve seen comparisons of Trump to RR. That’s a stretch. But here’s a comparison that I’ve considered: Trump is the real life Bulworth. That, I can go with.
Who are Trump’s conservative advisers?
