Exactly as I called it several days ago. It’s likely to become a letter of reprimand in his personnel jacket and his career is toast. He won’t see O-5/CDR and won’t make retirement with a RIF in the wind. But he is alive!

Would take too much balls for someone in his chain of command to declare, “Not in the strictest accord with the rules, but worthy of honorable mention for his heroic deed”.
