Obama has now successfully purged all real officers from the command structure. Those remaining are his personal serfs, willing to kiss butt with the hope of future promotion and lucrative retirement perhaps as a ‘consultant’ for a government contractor.

This seems like such a loser for the current administration.
Notice that the charge claimed is “Discharging a firearm on a Federal Installation”, not carrying a firearm against orders.
As a Commander, he likely has the authority to carry.
There are virtually always exceptions in laws against the discharge of firearms for defense of self and others.
I like Allen West, but I wonder if someone is setting him up.
Before 2016 is out, I expect Obama to formally charge every single soldier who had a confirmed kill in Iraq or Afghanistan, with First Degree Murder.
