I guess the Candidate that Pledges to round up any suspected Illegal Invaders and load them onto Cattle Cars headed to the Southern Border will get the FR Vote.

Yep, I’m sure a majority of the Electorate will embrace that scenario in 2016.

The Reality is that the only two Republican Candidates that have any sort of Rational View on handling the Illegal Invader issue are Cruz and Trump.

Did you know that the Socialist Bernie Sanders supports closing the Borders? He agrees with us on this issue more than 75% of the Republican Candidates. Isn’t that a hoot?

If there are any other “top tier” Republican Candidates who even come close to having a Clue about how to solve the problem are out there, I would like to know who they are.

The problem could be solved overnight if everyone had the same view as we do, but they don’t. We call that Reality.

Don’t vote Reagan. He used to be a democrat.

The 1986 deal was a one-time deal.

1986 amnesty: ¡una vez!

The 1986 deal made by both parties was the people who came before 1986 would be legalized, but that no more such amnesty would ever be made.

The politicians need to keep the 1986 deal made with the American people:
1. only immigrants who played by the rules 100% after the 1986 deal would be allowed to stay
2. immigrant lawbreakers after 1986 would be deported without exception
3. there would be no future amnesty

Promises were made by both Republicans and Democrats in 1986 to the American people with respect to immigration and immigrant scofflaws.

The post-1986 scofflaws need to be deported - every one.

Santorum? Yeah, he’s a contender.

The guy that lost his PA Senate Seat by over 20%?

Yeah, that’s the guy to hook your Wagon to.

Santorum ain’t gonna happen, ever.

I agree. Santorum is not going anywhere, but he has the best position on immigration of any of the candidates by far. So we will be stuck with a GOP candidate who supports amnesty and will not do anything to reduce legal immigration. The country is finished.

a) Pre 1962 when Reagan was a Democrat, the difference between the 2 parties was far less than it is today.

b) Reagan proved himself a Conservative for 18 years, by supporting Goldwater, consistently supporting Conservative principles and being a Conservative governor, before becoming President.

If Trump shows himself a Conservative for 18 years, maybe I will support him in 2036
He doesn’t seem to be able to stick to Conservative views for 18 days, though.

The lesser of 17 Evils, right?

Well, Bernie Sanders is a Closed Border Advocate, so he is way ahead of a dozen of our Guys. He also has no issues with the Second Amendment. He might pass the FR Purity Test.

He could get the FR Vote, you never know.

For me, it’s Cruz, Trump and maybe Fiorina for V.P. I love signing on here to find the next Trump bashing Thread, like he is any worse than any of his Competitors, with the exception of Cruz. The problem is, Cruz at 4% isn’t good.

Trump only sounds aggressive on immigration to those who swallow the mass media. Trump’s position is very close to the historic Republican position from Eisenhower to Reagan to 911. It is also known as the Wall Street Journal Editorial page position.

Professional politicians can not sustain long presidential primary campaigns without their superpacs funded by mega-rich donors.

And those meg-rich donors want the flow of cheap labor express of immigrants.

Even if Santorum is better than others on immigration, he still must accede to commands from his mega-rich donors.

Realistically, I see no path to stopping one million plus legal immigrants every year for many years, may be decades.

That is the primary goal of Barack Obama...to bring this country down to be no better than any others.

What Trump is aggressive on is securing the border which is the most important thing of all. Stop the roach coach. Then figure out what to do about the ones who are here.

Nobody even me thinks we are going to round up and deport the 30 millions illegals already here.

So far Trump and Cruz have the best plans. Get rid of the criminals and then use some type of merit system to let some stay and E-verify and no welfare will send a lot of them home on their own.

hmmm What all has happened since November 2012? Didn’t 0 open the floodgates, bus & fly them all over the country, we know not where, & order them released from jails/ not apprehended after that? Remember our ‘’guests’’ photographed in large, indoor cyclone fencing, waiting to be transported to wherever they were going? All of those kids got sick from some ‘’new’’ virus, some of the paralyzed. Border Patrol agents picked up scabies. Scabies is mange.

A year ago, commuting between Houston & San Antonio every weekend, we watched bus after bus almost every Friday night (empty school buses. Going where? In the middle of Summer. Not school. Or church. 15, sometimes more than 20 at a time. The big passenger type vans, like the airport shuttles, too.) heading west from Houston toward San Antonio on IH 10. They weren’t coming here. There was nothing visible going on in SA.

On Sunday, we’d sit in the parking lot of the Whataburger in Sealy, facing the Countryside or Countrysomething motel while we ate a quick supper. The motel was crammed with what looked like Mexican nationals, swarming all over the parking lot & the space between the gas station, WB, the empty area between those & the motel & the motel parking lot. A lot of the doors were open & there were 6, 7, 8 men in a room, milling all around the landings & hanging out on the railings. There might have been a few women, but we only remember men, & no children. What happened to all those children that were supposedly coming in? Those ‘’refugees’’ from Central America.

So what Donald Trump may have thought or said in 2011 isn’t the same thing that he- or most of us, thinks today. Things have changed exponentially. Did anybody notice? Or did we just get ‘’used to it’’? (I know we didn’t. But we may have lost track of just how much worse it is in the past 3 years. Long term misery will do that to people.)

Donald Trump is the only candidate who might even remotely attempt to stop the flood of illegals into the US. Walker won’t. Cruz won’t. Huck won’t. Jeb & Rubio will send buses across the border, pick them up, & bring them here. Trump is the only one even talking about it. More than 6 weeks since he announced running for president. You’d have thought, after seeing the response, all of the other candidates would be clamoring.

You made the most crucial point on immigration. Before everyone turns themselves into a pretzel about deportation, first priority must be to close the borders.

When you boat is taking on water, first priority is to plug the hole. Only then you can begin paling the water out.

Illegals who arrived as tourist or students and overstayed their visa’s is entirely another matter. When I was on a student visa, I was required to report my address to immigration every 6 months. That was early 1960’s. Do not know what current requirements are.

Wow. An alledged FReeper using the language and imagery of the left. I guess you are conjuring up the Holocaust with the illegal aliens being the Jews and the Southern border being the concentration camps.

The proponents of amnesty are wont to create the false choice between a blanket amnesty and mass deportation of 12 to 20 million illegal aliens. In reality, we have other choices and alternatives that don’t reward people who have broken our laws with the right to stay and work here and an eventual path to citizenship. The 12 to 20 million illegal aliens did not enter this country overnight and they will not leave overnight. Attrition through enforcement works. We have empirical data from Georgia, Oklahoma, and Arizona proving that it does.

The Reality is that the only two Republican Candidates that have any sort of Rational View on handling the Illegal Invader issue are Cruz and Trump.

Do you want to be more specific on how they differ from the others? They both support amnesty, i.e., the legalization of the lawbreakers, which will cost $6.3 trillion if there are only 12 million of them. And they will be able to sponsor tens of millions more of their relatives thru family reunification. When you reward something, you get more of it.

We have the lowest labor participation rates in 38 years. We have a massive surplus of labor with 93 million Americans of working age not in the labor force. We continue to bring in 1.1 million LEGAL PERMANENT IMMIGRANTS a year (more than the rest of the world combined) and 640,000 guest workers annually. Over 30 million legal permanent immigrants have entered this country since 1990. Cruz wants to quadruple the number of guest workers. Neither Trump nor Cruz talks about reducing legal immigration and they want to legalize 12 to 30 million lawbreakers to compete legally with the native born for jobs and depress wages further. 50% of the illegals lack even a high school degree. Immigrants, legal and illegal, use the welfare system to a greater degree than the native born. We are importing poverty and future Dem voters along with changing our demography.

Did you know that the Socialist Bernie Sanders supports closing the Borders? He agrees with us on this issue more than 75% of the Republican Candidates. Isn’t that a hoot?

Sanders understands that by continuing to flood the market with cheap labor hurts many Dem constituencies, especially the most loyal and lock-step one, blacks. I have predicted that the Dems, once they get their permanent majority status, will seize the immigration issue by calling for reduced legal immigration. THe GOP, the Stupid Party, will be seen as the one hurting American workers and siding with the corporate elites.

The problem could be solved overnight if everyone had the same view as we do, but they don’t. We call that Reality.

Unless you reduce legal immigration, the country is finished along with conservatism. Demography is destiny.

No Congressional GOP Leaders Will Support Reducing Immigration

As U.S. census data projects that immigration will soon exceed all documented historical records, not one Republican leader in Congress supports the popular step of reducing immigration.

Bush 41 doubled the cap on legal immigration. We have just had the two largest decades of legal immigration in our history. In 1970 one in 21 was foreign born; today, it is one in 8, the highest in 90 years, and within a decade, it will be one in 7, the highest in our history.

The law hasn't changed, but enforcement has. Universities are not cooperating with the Federal government and don't report the information without consequence.
